'Vision of Jessie Dog', Chasing Bees Painting by Redruth Artist Lindsey Keates.
60x120cm Boxed canvas
“Not long after my beautiful Jessie dog passed on, a few weeks later I was sitting at my computer and a vision of her lovely self chasing many bees in heaven, the sky like no other I had seen before, this was very poignant to me in the split second I closed my eyes as Jessie had only 3 legs towards the end of her life, as the cancer had got to her.
I recall seeing her beautiful nose in such a large close-up, that I could see her tiny breathing holes on the skin and ginger silky hairs like velvet along the bridge to touch, I may change this painting to add on her nose… I may paint another!”
