No Surrender, No White Flag! Art by Cornish Environmental & Political Artist Lindsey Keates.UK
120x60 deep edge canvas.
In July 2019 several news articles caught my attention regarding Russia and the Polar Bears, due to the bears being endangered, they are often sedated and winched from a town called Bulushya Guba, by helicopter back to safety.
During this time, it was also big news about many of the USA military bases being damaged and under flood water, therefore launched their latest fleet of ships to show strength, while Japan built actual viewing towers in the ocean, meanwhile, North Korea, which I don't usually like to mention, is illegally transferring fuel from fishing boat to ship mid-ocean.
This 'funny business' strikes me as ludicrous, in the sense of Nature changing all this with Tsunami, Fire, and Earthquake in the blink of an eye.
The Polar bear does not blink, staring back at humans, perplexed with his questions.
Where is all the ice?
How far do I need to keep swimming?
Where are all the fish?
I want dinner for my cubs...
I am tired......
