The Blue Planet
War on Plastic!
“Cornish Landscapes as a starting point, I create Artwork using my Dreams, Music, Lyrics, News, Social media, Conversations, and Spirituality, I paint straight out onto canvas using a pencil only when I am Life drawing, which I love also".
Tired of painting perfect scenes when in reality, Landscapes are covered in litter and poop bags, Lindsey decided to do something about it.
“I like to incorporate litter findings into my work as a reminder to humans to take their litter home, I’m pleased to say things have improved a great deal in my local area and Cornwall in general, 450 years is a long time for plastic bottles to be here, on this planet, please buy cans not plastic when you shop, it’s the best Superpower you have”!
“It’s difficult to explain to children why people ruin or undervalue the area in which they live, I think it’s the same for War, I’ve realised #tobethechange, we need to unify locally and globally to help Nature help itself, Basically if you want your children to inherit Wildlife, then get your hands dirty! ( sometimes it’s the wind blowing it out of our poorly designed recycling bags) also, I needed to stop moaning about the litter frankly, about people who litter and go out #pickitup and show willingness to be the change, I do this also by expressing my feelings about #Litterfreeliving through the creation of my Fine Art Landscape and Nature paintings, but also by clever titles for Artworks and promoting these issues by combining the perfect scenes and catchphrases like #Waronplastic! #Stopthedrop! #TheBeachisnotabin! or #ifthebinsarefulltakeithome!”
A percentage of sales helps to promote important issues on social media about Climate Change and Nature please do support small business. #shoplocal #mumprenuer

“I have spent many years competing on the Rivers and Oceans of Cornwall, Devon, Scillies, Muiden, and more recently Mounts Bay, capturing the tidal marks to canvas has been the best observational study, looking down the oar during training, leisure rowing, and competing. My inspiration and interpretation to paint are like the sport, dynamic, edgy, and fluid, the water is incredibly changeable along with the weather, I express this directly in my Artworks”.
